Perez K's 10 En Route to 4-1 Bridegrooms Win
Tony Perez was outstanding against Minnesota. The right-hander, who is tied for 10th in the PL with a 9.5 K/9 rate, had a changeup that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a Bridegrooms 4-1 win. Matt French nailed down his 37th save. The win for the Bridegrooms lifted their record to 89-64.

The famously hardworking Perez handled the Mallards all day, notching 10 strikeouts in 8 innings while allowing 2 hits. Perez, who is tied for 10th in the PL with a 9.5 K/9 rate, goes to 11-8 on the year with 209 strikeouts.

Perez said afterward that the win gets the team one step closer to its goal.
