Behind a solid performance from third baseman Jon Fura, the New Mexico Danger defeated the Texas Outlaws, 5-3. Fura was 2-4 with a home run. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for the Danger. The Danger sit in third place in the Frontier League East with a record of 82-77.

Fura had a timely hit for New Mexico in the bottom of the sixth. With Texas trailing 2-0, he turned a 1-1 fastball into a 3-run home run. It was his 10th home run of the season, making it 3-2, New Mexico.

"This was a good win," said Fura.
