The Oregon Explorers topped the California Bulldogs, 7-3, in Frontier League action at Meta Park at the Dog House. The standout performance belonged to Oregon pitcher and Kaunas, Lithuania, native Ruslan Popkovich. Popkovich went 5.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 1, and struck out 4. His record improves to 5-1. The second-place Explorers go to 94-68.

Oregon relied on the hitting of Matt Boyles to pick up the win. The third baseman clubbed a 3-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Explorers on top, 4-0. For the game, Boyles had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
