Un-four-gettable: Wedding Hits for Cycle
Getting 4 hits is a good day by any measure, but when those include a single, double, triple and a home run -- that's something special. Ryan Wedding's day was a special one.

The second baseman hit for the cycle to spark the 16-1 Markesan HS Gaels victory over the Akron HS Cobras at Ballpark of Akron HS. Markesan HS manager said he thought the whole lineup looked good in batting practice, but had not been expecting anything extraordinary from Wedding in particular.

"Ryan caught me by surprise today," the skipper said. "He looked good before the game, but man, he looked unbelievable during it."

For the day, Wedding finished with 2 runs batted in and 5 runs scored to go with his 4 hits.

Ryan Wedding doubled in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Nate Baughn in the 4th, walked in the 5th, tripled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
