Titans Hernández Smacks 5 Hits
Thursday, October 28th , 2055
Raúl Hernández put on a hitting clinic today as the Georgia Titans dumped the New York Twin Towers 16-5 at Twin Stadium.
The Georgia second baseman made New York defenders earn their pay, lashing New York pitching for 5 hits in 6 at-bats in the game. He told BNN reporters after the game that his strategy was "just hit it where they pitched it."
"Too often I try too hard to pull the ball," Hernández said in his postgame press conference. "Today, I just went with the pitch."
Raúl Hernández singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a GRAND SLAM off César Candelária in the 6th, struck out in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
This season Hernández has hit 17 home runs and posted a .267 batting average.
