Minnesota Sweeps into the Federation Cup Series
Saturday, November 1st , 2059
It's a sweet sweep for the Minnesota Mallards and they have won the League Championship Series. The New Mexico Danger were not able to keep pace with the Mallards and dropped the series in short order, losing 2-1 in the deciding game.

"This wasn't really the effort we hoped for," said New Mexico manager Jeff Hoffman.

It's now on to the Federation Cup Series for Minnesota after their 4-0 series win.

Leading the way for the winners was right fielder Tom Alvarado, who was named MVP. For the series, Alvarado hit .375 with a .444 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 6 RBI and scored 2 runs.

The Federation Cup Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the League Championship Series finishes.
