Padilla, Kioniko Suspended for Fracas Tuesday, June 9th , 2065 Juan Padilla of the New Jersey Athletics and Leveni Kioniko of the Alabama Yellowhammers will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 4 and 6 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Athletics-Yellowhammers game at Johnson & Johnson Field. Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Padilla and Kioniko will begin serving them soon. Padilla is currently batting .109 with 1 home run and 5 RBIs. So far this year Kioniko has 1 win and 4 losses and a 3.39 ERA. |
