California Bulldogs Ship Speaker to Texas Monday, August 3rd , 2065 California and Texas have agreed in principle to a trade. The Bulldogs will send 37-year old C Bob Speaker and 32-year old minor league CF Jorge Salazar to the Outlaws for a 4th round draft pick. The deal is expected to be finalized shortly and the clubs will be introducing their new players to the press when the paperwork is complete. This season Speaker has hit at a .250 clip and produced 23 runs batted in, 10 home runs and 25 runs. |
