Bad News for Steelheads, Woodard Injured Tuesday, September 15th , 2065 Disappointing news today for Idaho Steelheads fans. Kurt Woodard was hurt running the bases in their game against the Arizona Vipers and has a strained anterior cruciate ligament. Team trainers were hesitant to predict a date for return, but said it was likely the injury will keep the first baseman out at least 5 weeks. Thus far in 2065 Woodard is hitting .254 with 18 home runs, 54 RBIs, 40 runs scored and has compiled a .299 OBP. |
