Rowdy Players Suspended by League
Thursday, September 17th , 2065
Antonio Rincones of the New York Empire and Derek Evans of the Ohio Knights will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 4 and 9 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Empire-Knights game at The Empire.

Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Rincones and Evans will begin serving them soon.

This season Rincones has hit at a .319 clip with 36 RBIs, 2 home runs and 47 runs scored.

This year Evans has made 23 relief appearances with 3 saves. In 55.2 innings, he has permitted 44 hits, fanned 50 hitters and recorded no wins and no losses with a 3.23 ERA.
