Georgia-Kentucky Fight Results in Suspensions Tuesday, October 13th , 2065 After an intense confrontation, both the Titans Joe Joiner and the Lions Iván Morales were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent Georgia-Kentucky game. Joe Joiner will miss 4 games, while Iván Morales was suspended for 6 games. "Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," Joe Joiner commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play." This year Joiner is batting .187 with 18 home runs. So far this season Morales has a 14-12 record, 36 starts, 260.2 innings, 268 strikeouts and a 2.90 ERA. |
