Arizona Advances to League Championship Series Thursday, October 22nd , 2065 The Arizona Vipers are riding high after winning the Wildcard Series and eliminating the Texas Outlaws by a series score of 4-1. The final blow came tonight at The Snake Pit, when Arizona secured its spot in the League Championship Series with a 7-6 victory. "It feels good to put them away because we really didn't want to let them crawl back into this series," said third baseman Norm Laurent, who was named series MVP. "A team like that, you need to bury them when you get the chance." Laurent certainly helped his team's cause, as he hit .348 with a .400 on-base percentage in the series. He also chipped in 2 home runs, drove in 8 RBI and scored 2 runs. The League Championship Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Wildcard Series finishes.
