Trejo Crafts 6-0 Shutout Friday, October 30th , 2065 The Ontario Blue Pirates had no answer today for Alabama Yellowhammers pitcher Tony Trejo. They failed to score a single run against him, losing 6-0. Ontario managed only 9 hits off Trejo, who had 7 strikeouts. The extraordinarily popular Trejo got a standing ovation from the hometown crowd as he left the field, the applause continuing until he returned from the dugout to tip his cap to the crowd. "Yellowhammers fans are the best fans, in my opinion," he said. "It's a great feeling to throw a shutout under any circumstances but to do it with the crowd behind you like that is just incredible." So far in 29 appearances this season, Trejo has recorded 10 wins and sustained 10 losses. He has pitched 211.2 innings, yielded 167 hits, fanned 181 and has a 2.72 ERA.
