Vipers Shut Out Yellowhammers, Medici Winner Thursday, November 5th , 2065 Greg Medici shut out the Alabama Yellowhammers 4-0 on a 2-hit masterpiece for the Arizona Vipers at The Snake Pit today. "He was kind of teasing them with his off-speed stuff, and his fastball was moving everywhere," Arizona skipper Alex Cumana said afterward. Medici registered 7 strikeouts and issued no walks in pitching a gem. "We just didn't swing the bats very well. Or else he just pitched good, whichever way you want to look at it," said Alabama manager Liam Maroney after the defeat.
