Georgia CL Oliva Will Miss 6 Weeks Friday, September 10th , 2066 The Georgia Titans learned that Jesús Oliva is likely to be out for 6 weeks after he injured himself throwing a pitch in today's game against the Minnesota Mallards. A round of tests by the team doctor revealed the injury to be a strained hamstring. Upon hearing the diagnosis, the Georgia manager told the press, "As you all know, we can't control injuries -- they are a part of the game. We just have to do the best we can until Jesús is back in action." This season Oliva has nailed down no saves. In 29.2 innings he has fanned 41 batters and walked 11. His record is 3-1 with a 6.67 ERA and the opposition is batting .298 against him. |
