Explorers Luna Suffers Injury Thursday, October 7th , 2066 The Explorers received bad news this morning. Oscar Luna will miss 3 weeks due to an oblique strain. He sustained the injury in the Oregon-Idaho game while colliding with a player at a base. "I'm disappointed more than anything," he told reporters later in the day. "You can't help your team on the bench," Luna sighed. "I'll do the rehab work and hope for a quick recovery." This season Luna is batting .297 with 14 home runs. His totals include 54 RBIs and 79 runs scored. |
