Blue Pirates Prevail, as Wildcard Series Goes to the Wire Sunday, October 24th , 2066 The Ontario Blue Pirates and Maryland Bridegrooms hooked up in a classic Wildcard Series that went right down to the wire. In the end, it's Ontario heading off to the League Championship Series, after a 2-1 win at Farmers Market Stadium tonight earned the 4-3 series win. Outside Farmers Market Stadium, whether they were supporters of Ontario or Maryland, many fans talked about how it was a series they would never forget. Jesus Capistran played the hero for the Blue Pirates in the series, as his MVP performance included a .296 batting average, with a .367 on-base percentage.
