Tierney Records 4-0 Shutout Against Kentucky Saturday, July 2nd , 2067 Ronman Tierney kept the opposition off the scoreboard and the Alabama Yellowhammers were all smiles after winning 4-0 against the Kentucky Lions at Madison County Grounds today. The left-handed Tierney gave up no runs in his start, permitted 1 hit and had 8 strikeouts. "If there was a stat for 'team shutout,' this would be it," Tierney said later. "My catcher called a great game, guys delivered at the plate and when I messed something up the guys behind me were where they needed to be."
