Deal: Lane for Noriega Monday, August 6th , 2068 The Outlaws have reached a deal with Minnesota, sending 21-year old minor league LHP J.J. Lane, 18-year old minor league 3B Cédric Lecomte, and a 4th round draft pick to the Mallards in exchange for 35-year old RHP José Noriega. Reports had been hinting at a deal in recent days, but weren't confirmed until this afternoon. So far this season, Noriega has logged a 4-7 record with a 3.48 ERA. He has started 21 games, hurled 103.1 innings and registered 135 strikeouts and 30 walks. |
