Webb Named Top PL Hurler Monday, July 1st , 2069 A relief pitcher really has to distinguish himself in order to get recognition by the media, but today the spotlight shined brightly on Rich Webb as he was named the Patriot League Pitcher of the Month. He made 11 relief appearances and compiled 5 saves, 15 innings, 5 strikeouts and a 1.80 ERA. In June Webb was 3-1. Currently Webb has 13 saves. In 33 relief appearances he has hurled 43.2 innings, struck out 27 and issued 11 walks with a 6-5 record. The Ontario reliever has recorded a 3.71 ERA and allowed the opposition to hit .266 when he is on the mound. |
