Sunday, July 14th , 2069
The California Bulldogs stopped the Arizona Vipers, 8-2, and Chris Morrill collected a base hit yet again. The California second baseman finished with 2 hits to run his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20.

"I want to get a hit every time up," a visibly excited Morrill told reporters after the contest. "I want to get a hit every game I play. Right now, I feel like I could take this streak to 100 games."
Chris Morrill flied out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 4th and grounded out in the 6th.

This year, Morrill is batting .361 with 11 home runs. He has scored 51 runs and driven in 63.
