FL Reliever of the Year Winner Named Thursday, November 21st , 2069 When Jonathan Boehlke jogged in from the bullpen this season, opposing teams knew they were going to have a tough time putting up runs. The Arizona Vipers closer turned in a dominant campaign and has been named the Frontier League Reliever of the Year winner for 2069. His award-winning season saw the bullpen ace get 47 saves in 66 relief appearances, 59 strikeouts in 62.2 innings and only 18 walks. He had a record of 3 wins and 5 losses to go with his 1.87 ERA. "I hope I can pitch like this every year," he said. Ralph Holmes of the New Mexico Danger finished second in voting, while Jeff Todd of the New Mexico Danger finished third. |
