Kooijman Snags PL Batting Honor in May Friday, June 1st , 2040 When Diederick Kooijman stepped up to the plate in May, he did it with confidence and today he was honored with the Patriot League Batter of the Month award. The young Maryland third baseman posted a .275 batting average with 11 home runs, 26 RBIs and scored 23 runs. Kooijman also worked pitchers for 18 walks to post a .383 on-base percentage. This season Kooijman is batting .235 with 12 home runs. He has scored 29 runs and driven in 32. |
