Cruz Pitches Athletics to Shutout Win Wednesday, May 16th , 2046 Jesús Cruz of the New Jersey Athletics overwhelmed the New York Twin Towers and walked off the mound with a complete-game shutout. He blanked them 4-0 on 6 hits with a total of 11 strikeouts and no walks. "Jesús was on quite a roll," New Jersey manager said. "He gets great late movement and he doesn't give in to the hitters."
