Hines Ups Hit Streak to 20 Consecutive Games Saturday, June 29th , 2047 Athletics right fielder Dave Hines has extended his hitting streak to 20 games. He went 1-for-5 in today's game against the Ohio Knights. New Jersey won the ballgame 8-7. "Got a hit and a win," he said later. "OK, I'll take it." Dave Hines flied out in the 2nd, flied out in the 5th, singled in the 7th, grounded out in the 8th and struck out in the 9th. This year Hines has hit at a .303 pace and produced 40 RBIs, 12 home runs and scored 36 runs. |
