Recovery Slow For Athletics Carlos Pike Friday, June 26th , 2048 New Jersey Athletics second baseman Carlos Pike will now miss more time after sustaining a setback in his recovery from a sprained thumb. The setback is believed to be minor, but the timetable for his return has been pushed back an additional 2 weeks. This season Pike has hit at a .329 clip with 34 RBIs, 11 home runs and 35 runs scored. |
