Lahoda's Hit Streak Soars to 40 Games Friday, July 10th , 2048 Idaho third baseman Ken Lahoda keeps on racking up hits every time he plays. His hitting streak now stands at 40 games after collecting 1 hit at Todd Berry Memorial Field today. The Steelheads took the 3-2 victory over the Illinois Warhawks. "I have been seeing the ball really good the last few weeks, but I am a bit surprised how things are working out," Lahoda said. "I've gotten a couple flares to drop in, so I've also been a little lucky." Ken Lahoda singled in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, grounded out in the 6th and grounded out in the 8th. Lahoda is hitting .359 so far this season with 48 RBIs and 63 runs scored. He has 138 hits including 12 home runs, 13 walks and .388 OBP. |
