It's Over: Warhawks Stop Saucedo Saturday, July 18th , 2048 The streak has been snapped. António Saucedo failed to get a hit in today's game against the Illinois Warhawks, bringing his 21-game hitting spree to an end. The 24-year-old Washington third baseman was 0-for-5, but the Resonance got the win and defeated the Warhawks 6-5. "I'm not disappointed at all -- I had a great run," Saucedo said. "I got to 21 games. I got my name into an elite group with a bunch of good ballplayers. What's there to complain about?" Saucedo is currently batting .302 with 15 home runs and 56 RBIs. |
