Hollers Murphy Dominates Athletics Saturday, August 1st , 2048 Caleb Murphy blitzed the New Jersey Athletics at New River Ballpark today, pitching the West Virginia Hollers to victory, 4-0. Murphy needed 9 innings to shut out the Athletics, striking out 5. "I knew he had it in him, but it's still nice to see him put it all together," said West Virginia manager Sean Carley. Murphy surrendered 5 hits and no walks in the outing. This year Murphy has worked 136.2 innings with 87 strikeouts en route to a 10-7 record and a 4.08 ERA.
