More Injury Problems For Idaho's Ánibal González Thursday, August 6th , 2048 The Idaho Steelheads received some bad news when the team's medical staff announced that Ánibal González would miss even more time than had previously been expected. González, who is currently out with a strained abdominal muscle, was evaluated by doctors yesterday and tests showed that the injury was not healing as quickly as they expected. Instead, the 34-year-old closer will have to spend another 3 weeks in treatment. This season González has been credited with 17 saves. In 34 relief appearances and 36.1 innings pitched he has a 1-4 won-lost mark, 2.48 ERA and 42 strikeouts |
