Spurs Come up Short of Playoffs Wednesday, October 6th , 2049 While they stayed relevant until late in the season, a playoff berth wasn't meant to be this season for the Texas Spurs. The club was eliminated from playoff contention today. "Even though we knew where things stood, it's a disappointment," Spurs manager Matt Yordy said. Texas last appeared in the postseason in 2044. This is their 5th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 16 times in their 36-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Spurs have missed the playoffs 7 times. Texas last won the Federation Cup Series in 2030. |
