Hinkle Tags Bridegrooms for 5 Hits Sunday, May 22nd , 2050 Getting 5 hits in a game has always been memorable feat in baseball. In the Ontario's 16-4 win over Maryland today, third baseman Ty Hinkle was red-hot, scorching them for hit after hit at Bridegrooms Stadium. "To hit the ball consistently well, you have to relax," Hinkle said afterward. "I was relaxed for the first four hits, but I have to admit, I got a little tight when I realized I had a chance for five. On the last at-bat, I was ready to swing at anything close." Ty Hinkle hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and hit a two-run double in the 7th. This year Hinkle is batting .330 with no home runs.
