Bertrand Smacks 5 Hits for Railroaders
Sunday, June 26th , 2050
Dan Bertrand found his groove in today's game versus the New York Twin Towers and wrote his name in the league record book. His 5-for-5 performance at the plate unfortunately wasn't enough for the Pennsylvania Railroaders, as the club lost the game, 9-8.

The 26-year-old center fielder told the press "it was one of those days where everything clicked."

"I made solid contact, and the ball dropped in," Bertrand said.

Dan Bertrand hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Caleb Murphy in the 6th, singled in the 8th and singled in the 9th.

Bertrand is hitting at a .272 mark this season. His stats show 18 home runs, 40 RBIs and 32 runs scored. He has played 74 games for the Railroaders.
