Reed Has Nagging Injury, Listed DTD Monday, June 8th , 2065 Reports out of Fort Collins indicate that Nate Reed, the gifted reliever, might be sidelined for 4 weeks or so with a strained abdominal muscle. The 24-year-old star suffered the injury in yesterday's Canadians-North Stars game while throwing a pitch. "It's a game time decision," noted the team doctor, "It all depends on how Nate feels later today. If he can play, he will." Reed has taken the mound for 21 relief appearances this season, nailing down 1 save while notching a 1-0 record with a 4.82 ERA.
