Owls Beigel to Miss Year Friday, July 10th , 2065 The season is ending on a bad note for Jeff Beigel, starting pitcher for the Trenton Owls. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Beigel was hurt against the Cincinnati Pride while throwing a pitch. He suffered shoulder inflammation and will be out for at least 7 months. This season to date Beigel has a record of 7 wins and 5 losses with a 5.28 ERA, has appeared in 18 games and struck out 96 in 105.2 innings. |
