Lamarque Gets 5 Hits Saturday, August 29th , 2065 Edmond Lamarque said "it felt like taking batting practice" today at Green Sox Ballpark, and it showed in the box score. The Cincinnati third baseman had a fantastic 5-for-6 day against the Greensboro Green Sox, leading his club to victory, 11-6. "I was seeing the ball very well and it was going just about anywhere I wanted," Lamarque said later." Edmond Lamarque singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit a two-run single in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Luis Amador in the 8th.
