Year Over for Lincolns Pollak Friday, September 11th , 2065 Marc Pollak of the Lincolns just might have to call it quits for the season. The 29-year-old Springfield reliever received a possible season-ending injury against the El Paso Express recently at El Paso Park. Pollak suffered a torn ulnar collateral ligament while throwing a pitch. The Lincolns medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 12-13 months. This season Pollak has nailed down no saves with 14 strikeouts in 16 innings. He is credited with 2 wins and 1 loss and has a 1.12 earned run average. |
