Glesener Named 2065 ULW Most Valuable Hitter Winner

Dave Glesener of the Salem Cherries had a fine season this year and today he accepted the Most Valuable Hitter for 2065.

The 23-year-old left fielder put up a .403 average and a .445 on-base percentage, piling up 142 hits, 20 doubles, 4 triples, 25 home runs, 82 RBIs and 68 runs scored.

He received 11 first place votes out of a possible 20. Rudy Tolbert of the Salem Cherries finished second in voting with 1 first place vote, while Jim Bourdon of the Springfield Lincolns finished third with 3 first place votes.
