Crosslin Hitless, Stopped by Kings Sunday, July 17th , 2067 Lady Luck was not on the side of Chad Crosslin or his teammates today at Kings Palace. Everything went the way of the Montgomery Kings, who not only came away with the 2-1 victory over Trenton, but also held Crosslin hitless in 1 at-bat to put an end to his 20-game hitting streak. "It was a good run," Crosslin said afterward. "It would be much easier to take right now if we had won." This year Crosslin is hitting .329 with 26 home runs and 80 RBIs in 85 games played. He also boasts an OBP of .394 with 39 walks and 63 runs scored. |
