Montgomery's Stark Snags August Batting Title Sunday, September 1st , 2069 When Kevin Stark stepped up to the plate in August he did it with confidence, and today he was honored with the East Batter of the Month award. The young Montgomery first baseman posted a .378 batting average with 13 home runs, 26 RBIs and scored 27 runs. Stark also worked pitchers for 23 walks to post a .500 on-base percentage. This year, Stark is batting .373 with 43 home runs. |
