Lumberjacks Taylor Rasberry Down and Out for Year

The season is ending on a bad note for Taylor Rasberry, reliever for the Grand Junction Lumberjacks. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Rasberry was hurt against the Spokane Indians while throwing a pitch. He suffered a damaged elbow ligament and will be out for at least 13 months.

So far this season Rasberry has worked 23.1 innings in 6 relief appearances with 1 saves. He has dished out 22 strikeouts and walked 16 with a 0-1 mark and a 6.94 ERA.
