Beavers Rodríguez Snags CLW Player of the Week Monday, August 3rd , 2048 So far in his young career, Mario Rodríguez has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the West in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 21-year-old Buffalo Beavers third baseman hit at a torrid .714 clip as he collected 10 hits in 14 at-bats, 2 home runs, 7 RBIs and 3 runs scored. In 97 games this year Rodríguez has posted a .326 average and put up these numbers: 12 home runs, 59 RBIs and 55 runs scored. |
