Year Over for Whalers Scovell Tuesday, March 12th , 2069 Chris Scovell has to call it a season. The Plaster Rock College Whalers second baseman sustained a season-ending injury against the Glendale College Browns and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Scovell was injured while running the bases. His doctors diagnosed it as a ruptured medial collateral ligament and stated that he would not be able to play for 9-10 months. This season, Scovell is batting .291 with 25 hits, 5 home runs, 15 RBIs, .404 OBP and has scored 21 runs. |
