Playoffs Won't Happen for Missiles Saturday, April 13th , 2069 It won't be a season to remember for the El Paso College Missiles, as the club has officially missed out on the playoffs. The Missiles were mathematically eliminated from qualification today. "With any luck, in a couple years we will look back on the 2069 season as an important stepping stone to a title," said El Paso College reliever Kevin Sidwell. El Paso College last appeared in the postseason in 2067. This is their 2nd consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 32 times in their 53-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Missiles have made the playoffs 6 times. El Paso College last won the College Cup in 2065. |
