Rockies Advance to College League Championship Series Sunday, April 27th , 2070 The Laval College Rockies outclassed the Santa Ana College Steelhawks in all facets of the game throughout the NC College Wildcard Series. The end result was a Laval College series sweep to advance to the College League Championship Series, capped off by a 12-4 win in the final game. "We're a bit surprised it's over in a sweep, to be honest with you," said center fielder Tom Orr, who hit .500 in the series. Orr's standout effort garnered him MVP honors. He also put up a .600 on-base percentage and had 1 home runs, drove in 3 RBI and scored 4 runs. The Laval College Rockies don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Gatineau College Golden Spikes - Ft. Wayne College Steamrollers series. Ft. Wayne College leads the series 2 games to 0.
