Braman Ups Hit Streak to 20 Consecutive Games Monday, April 1st , 2069 Ed Braman, left fielder for the Kirbyville HS Drillers, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games with 1 hit in his club's 19-5 victory over the Wasco HS War Lords at Drillers Stadium. "I don't really know why it's even happening," he said with a grin after the game. "So asking me how long I can keep it up is kind of irrelevant. It'll end when it ends." Ed Braman hit a solo-shot off Chris Fisher in the 1st, walked in the 2nd, walked in the 2nd and flied out in the 5th. In his season totals Braman has 4 home runs and a .446 batting average. |
