League Suspends Roberts and Mullins for Fisticuffs Sunday, April 7th , 2069 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's San Jose HS-New Orleans HS contest at Locomotives Stadium. The Sharks Ed Roberts and the Locomotives Jay Mullins will have to sit out 4 and 6 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. Roberts is currently hitting at a .321 pace with 5 home runs and 26 RBIs. He has played in 18 games and scored 16 times. Checking out his stats for the year, Mullins has racked up no wins and 1 loss in 5 starts, posted a 6.28 ERA, and struck out 17 batters in 14.1 innings. |
