Dupond Ups Hit Streak to 25 Consecutive Games Tuesday, April 14th , 2071 Chalk up another one for Montreal HS Loggers left fielder Emmanuel Dupond. He now has hit in 25 straight games. Dupond went 3-for-6 in today's game at Ballpark of Akron HS but saw his club defeated, 22-11, by the host Akron HS Cobras. "Playing on the road always makes it harder to get hits and to get wins," Loggers manager said after the game. "We got one of the two, but unfortunately it was the wrong one." Emmanuel Dupond flied out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Ben Boswell in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, grounded out in the 5th, singled in the 7th and grounded out in the 8th. In his season totals, Dupond has 9 home runs, .383 BA, .441 OBP, 27 RBIs and 28 runs scored. He has played in 24 games. |
