Monarchs, Rhinos Trade Players Saturday, July 10th , 2066 The Kansas Monarchs and Utah Rhinos have put the finishing touches on a deal that was weeks in the making. Kansas will part with 33-year old LF Adam Medeiros, while the Rhinos have dealt 32-year old RHP Lu Ching. "This one took a while to figure out," said Kansas general manager Joe Unknown. "We must have gone back to the drawing board five or six times over the past few weeks. I'm glad we finally got the deal done. I think it is a good one for both clubs." This year Medeiros is batting .269 with 5 home runs and 25 RBIs. In 54 games he has scored 27 times. This year Ching has compiled a 6-1 record with a 3.18 ERA. |
