Callaway on Fire: 5-for-5 for Nevada Wednesday, August 21st , 2069 After his 5-hit effort at Aardvarks Stadium was tarnished by Nevada's 9-6 loss to the Arkansas Aardvarks, third baseman Chris Callaway told BNN beat writers it was "a missed opportunity for a special day." "It really doesn't matter whether it's sandlot ball, high school or college, two hits in a game is nice," he said. "I would have been happy to stop there if it meant we got a win." He didn't get the win, but the 22-year-old had a spectacular 5-for-5 game against the Aardvarks. "His swing is getting there," said Piranhas skipper after the game. "We want him to be quick with his swing, short and compact. We want him to be patient and go the other way when he can. Chris did that to perfection and we wasted it." Chris Callaway doubled in the 2nd, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and doubled in the 10th. This season, Callaway is batting .342 with 4 home runs.
